Sweet, Creamy Lime Frozen Grapes are the perfect summertime treat! Tart grapes coated in a lime and honey-spiked Greek yogurt and then frozen, these sweet treats are nostalgic and chic in their simplicity. They are the perfect little treat to serve with a tropical cocktail so guests stay cool when it’s hot outside.

Sweet, Creamy Lime Frozen Grapes
Do you remember the absolute pure joy of being a kid at the pool and being able to pick out frozen candy from the snack bar? I remember that sheer indulgence of a frozen Snickers bar or frozen Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups like it was yesterday. There’s just something about an everyday candy bar that becomes something completely ethereal once frozen and devoured poolside.
As an adult, when I’m hosting a pool party, I like to play with that idea but in a way that feels more grown up. Instead of candy, I’m freezing grapes (nature’s candy!), coated in a tart, lime Greek yogurt mixture. These treats require no cooking, and the tartness of the lime really brings a punch of flavor. The result are these little indulgences that mimic a frozen candy bar but feel fresher and guilt free. A sprinkle of coconut before you freeze them mimics the flavor profile of a tropical drink and gives you those vibes as guests enjoy them.
Because these treats will melt in the sun, I like to serve them straight out of the freezer to go hand in hand when I’m serving cocktails. They go perfectly with my Piña Colada Spritzes, and I like to dress up some of the grapes with a sprinkle of lime zest or coconut flake. Pop one in your mouth and let that frozen sweetness cool off your afternoon by the pool. This is a must try for your next warm weather hosting!

Creamy Lime Frozen Grapes
Ingredients
Method
- In a small mixing bowl, mix together the vanilla greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, and honey. You're looking for a smooth consistency that can coat the grapes in a thin layer.
- Using one grape a time, dunk a grape into the yogurt mixture. Sprinkle with shredded coconut if desired. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet or platter. Once all of the grapes are on the platter, slide the platter into the freezer. Freeze until firm (1 hour). Serve cold and enjoy!

Hosting Notes
- For a sweeter treat, mix a little softened cream cheese or mascarpone into the Greek yogurt mixture.
- Any grapes will do for this–I used red grapes here, but green will work well too and give you a flavor that’s a bit more tart. I haven’t tried it with grape varietals like cotton candy or gummy bear, but I’m sure they would be delicious (and very sweet!) too. I would just make sure whatever grape you’re using is seedless.
- I like to pick out the smaller grapes for this recipes as they’re easier to eat once coated with yogurt and frozen.
- Sprinkle a few of the grapes with shredded coconut before freezing a nice echo to the Piña Colada Spritz cocktails I serve. You could also enhance these with a sprinkle of graham cracker dust, freeze dried strawberry dust, or lime or lemon zest.
- This is a perfect recipe to make with kids and to serve to them. Mine enjoyed covering the grapes in the yogurt and loved the end product as well.

A Sweet Summer
Creamy Lime Frozen Grapes are a delightful and unexpected treat for guests to enjoy at your next fancy pool party. I always include them on my Chic Pool Party Menu as they bring so much joy. They go perfectly with the Piña Colada Spritz cocktails, and I love to serve them alongside a spiced Hot Honey Chex Mix, Caprese Roll Ups, and Strawberry Lemonade Ricotta Cake. Now that’s a pool party menu with style!
If you like a lighter treat like this, I’d definitely suggest trying my Roasted Grapefruit with Whipped Cream. Roasting brings out all the natural sweetness of the grapefruit–it’s a true stunner of a dessert. Or try my Lemony Strawberry Biscuit Cake! The beautiful biscuits and fresh fruit make summer feel luscious. Fruit salad is another great way to serve a lighter dessert and mine, macerated in citrus and vanilla bean, is the BEST!
These tiny frozen grapes are the definition of small but mighty. They may be bite size, but the flavors are memorable, and they may just be the one treat everyone’s still talking about three days later.
